Account Executive:
Responsible for generating new business revenue through season tickets, partial plans, and group tickets, and renewing and up-selling season ticket accounts via phone, networking events, and face to face presentations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Meet or exceed daily call and appointment expectations
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
- Handle incoming sales calls
- Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
- Effectively execute sales campaigns and training set forth
- Efficiently manage workday as determined by Management
- Maintain computerized records of all clients and prospects with our CRM system
- Provide excellent customer service skills
- Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns
- Maintain and grow industry standard sales skills
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Required Skills, Experience & Abilities:
To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field
- Proven track record of 1-2 years of high level success recommended
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to attend all home games
- Proficient in basic computer software programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to present sales material to large groups and clients

Game Night Host:
OVERVIEW: The Boston Blazers are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible individual, preferably with lacross experience to act at the Game Night Emcee for the 2011 season.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but are not limited to
- Entertaining and informing the crowd of on-field activities.
- Coordinate timeout and halftime activities
- Perform at all 8 home games.
- Lead sponsored in-game promotions.
- Work to ensure that all props, signs, etc. are kept up in a manner suitable for showing at games and appearances.
- Ensure game props are kept organized and in good condition, and put away appropriately after each game.
- Assist in any additional duties assigned by the Director of Marketing & Event Operations.
- Use any office hours to work on developing the character's craft (props, shooting, drill, skits, video features, etc.)
Preferred Skills, Experience, & Abilities
- Must be able to speak and perform in front of large groups
- Punctuality, professionalism, and being a team player are all important in this position.
- Have a good knowledge of lacrosse.
- Ability to attend all home games.
- Stong sense of humor/ability to entertain.
- Radio or television background recommended.

Sports Information Intern:
Accepting applications for Fall and Spring Semesters
The Boston Blazers are accepting applications for Sports Information Interns for the fall and spring semesters. PR/Sports Information internship positions are available as on-site office positions as well as remote location writing positions. General responsibilities vary by season and include, but are not limited to:
- Creating assigned feature articles on a weekly basis
- Assist with media coordination of game nights, player appearances, and media events
- Developing and writing other stories whose topics should vary between lacrosse specific content, community service activities by coaches and players, as well as fun and interesting human interest stories featuring Blazers players and dancers
- Assist in writing game previews and recaps for all home games (Spring)
- Assisting with game night press responsibilities including credentialing (Spring)
- Assist with updates to the team website
- Assist in monitoring message board discussions
- Assist with the posting and upkeep on online photo and video galleries
- Contribute to the content of the Blazers Game Day Program, Press Kits, and Media Guide
- Organizing and cataloging team photographs
- Ability to work nights and weekends. All spring interns are required to attend all home games.
Proven writing skills and the ability to work independently on projects are necessary. A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design, is preferred, though not required. All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Video and Web Production Intern

The Boston Blazers are now accepting applications for Video and Web Production Interns.
General responsibilities vary by season and include, but are not limited to:
- A familiarity with and working knowledge of digital video recording and production
techniques
- Responsible for recording and editing of player and coaches interviews
- Assist in the editing process for weekly video highlight packages and other assorted
video elements for use on the web and for game nights.
- Assist with posting video content to web
- Assist with the production of digital media kits and sponsor related items. Interns
will produce video elements to be used on in-stadium video boards on game nights.
- Responsible for organizing and cataloging Blazers Video library
- Ability to work nights and weekends. Spring Interns are required to attend all home
games.
An undergraduate or graduate major in the areas of Electronic and Film Media, Creative
Designer, or New Media Production is preferred but not required for this position.
Interns should have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Final Cut Pro, After
Effects, Flash, and HTML.

Ticket Intern

semesters. General responsibilities vary by season and include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Blazers ticket sales staff
- Assist with database list generation and subsequent communication via calls, direct mail
and other activities
- Help process ticket orders for season, group, and individual game tickets
- Assist the Marketing Department with the coordination of marketing strategies for ticket
sales, special promotions, and sponsorships
- Assist with all ticket related activations on game nights
- Must be able to receive college credit for this internship and provide verification that
credit will be received
- Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented
- Ability to be successful working in a fast paced, loosely structured environment
- Should have strong communication skills
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also
able to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to work nights and weekends. Spring Interns are required to attend all home
games.
