Game 1, Blazers Win! The home opener definitely started off with a bang. They defeated the Rush with the support of the best fans in the NLL… and the best dance team in the NLL ;)
I had been looking forward to my first ever Boston Blazers game as a Spark, ever since auditions back in September. Extra practice with Alicia, spray tan parties and lots of dancing in the car (or anywhere) prepared me for the season to come. Even though I had been sooo nervous going into the first home game, it was so exciting I didn’t have time to have first night jitters! I never realized how much goes on behind the scenes, while the Blazers are doing their thang on the turf. T-shirt tosses, birthday wishes, autograph signings and halftime mingling made the game fly by!
My favorite part, no doubt, was seeing the fans react to the game action. Blazers fans, you guys rock! Let’s have a great 2011 season! FIRE UP BOSTON!
Third times a charm! The Sparks are off to a fabulous and phenomenal third season!! The audition for our third season was filled with so many beautiful and talented ladies, and this years Sparks team is sure to be a fan favorite!
We're hard at work creating some fresh and exciting entertainment for the Blazer fans! Being a third year Veteran, and newly appointed Captain, I'm very excited to get on the field and showcase our gorgeous and radiant ladies. And they have some high standards to fill! Our past two teams have been filled with brilliant and dazzling women, the 5 rookies will need to bring their best to the field to keep the Blazer fans on their toes! But I have every confidence that the Sparks will "sparkle" and the entertainment will be like no prior season.
With the holiday season in full affect, we're busy with our team photo shoot and representing the Blazers and Sparks at various promotional and charity events. It's always fun for us to meet the fabulous Blazer fans and work with local charity groups!
So here we go! The 2011 season is just a few weeks away and opening night is surly to be spectacular!! It’s truly an honor to be part of the Sparks… here's to an amazing third season!!
